About Us - Our Philosophy
Holiday Houseboat Hire is a small family owned business based in Forster NSW.
The twin towns of Forster and Tuncurry provide sentinels to the entrance to Wallis Lake, a large waterway that is a prime breeding ground for many marine species.
Wallis Lake is supplied by four major river systems, the Wallingat, the Coolongolook, the Wallamba, and the Wang Wauk as well as numerous creeks and land run off.
It is a beautiful waterway and is surrounded by National Parks and boasts uninhabited, protected islands. It has some of the most significant beds of seagrass on the Eastern Seaboard.
Our Philosophy is simple:

To achieve this:
We provide a comfortable vessel that is clean and ready to use.
We have fitted the boat with all of the things that you would need on a Holiday, right down to comfy pillows
We are on call 24 hours whilst you are on our boat to assist you should you have problems
We provide you with high quality documentation on the boat's systems, and what to do should you have any issues
We will ensure that you have been fully briefed on the vessel operation, boat safety, and the waterway limits to ensure your time on the boat is stress free
We will take the vessel from its mooring, through the faster currents at the Lake Entrance into calm waters where you will take charge
We will meet you at an agreed time and place to bring the boat back to the mooring to take the stress out of that for you
